Comedy Festival Finale

Sat. Jan. 17, 10:30 p.m.

Theatre 99

All good things must come to an end, and the Charleston Comedy Festival is no exception.

But instead of a whimper, the festival’s conclusion, as it does every year, will come with a mighty big bang.

It’s basically a gumbo of comedy. A melange. A potpourri. A bouillabaisse.

Whatever word describes putting stuff together and stirring it up.

So: Take all the funny people — longform improv, sketch comedy, musical improv, stand-up, etc. — and blend them for one night of intense comedy.

You can be sure your belly will be aching at the end.

True, the end is a sad occasion. The laughs are in short supply these days. But fear not. Theatre 99 returns with another round of comedy during the Piccolo Fringe Festival in May.

Until then, check out the Festival Finale.
