The Citadel’s Daniel Library is in the middle of a massive project to digitize all back issues of the school’s campus newspaper, The Brigadier. It’s also in the midst of creating a digital catalog of yearbooks, including photographs going back as long as El Cid has been around. The moves are part of a larger effort to provide alumni with “an electronic library of Citadel history and lore,” according to the spring newsletter. The newsletter doesn’t provide details about where the digital archives will be put on display. I’m waiting for a return call from the library’s administrator. For now, you can call (843) 953-2569 for more. —John Stoehr
