Everyone’s favorite cheesemonger, Manoli Davani, is celebrating her wine and cheese shop’s second anniversary this weekend.
She’ll be throwing open the doors at Avondale Wine and Cheese for one of her intimate, backyard parties, which will feature a keg of Hennepin Farmhouse Ale, kabobs prepared by hospitable husband Clay, cheese and meat platters, and bowls of chili.
She’s also planning to pop some corks on complimentary wine and will be fomenting an all-out dessert war. So be sure to bring it! (Some advice if you want to win the food contest: bring friends who will vote for you.)
Her shop is intimate and friendly and if you haven’t been to one of her Saturday night parties, what are you waiting for? The fun starts at 6 p.m.
