The King Street hotel planed for the old library building off Marion Square is scheduled to be back in front of the city’s zoning board on Tuesday, requesting another year-long extension of the project’s 2004 approval. The project has been tied up in courtroom hell, largely due to it’s nine(ish)-story height. Opponents have called for a boutique hotel on the site. Considering they’re already in court over the last extension, I’d say it’s a safe bet the opposition will be out again tomorrow.
