On Saturday Feb. 6, B’Zar is hosting their farewell party from 6-9 p.m. It’ll be a nostalgia-filled goodbye with a display of all the photo-shoots, posters, and flyers from the parties they’ve thrown over the years. The Spaced Invaders will be setting up a video installation of all the fashion shows and Kulture Klash videos as well. Guests can sign a naked male mannequin, and DJ Belk will be spinning a mix of mash-up, hip-hop, and house music. The remainder of their merchandise will be on sale for 50-60 percent off. “We want this to be fun event, since we will still play an active part in the community, throwing events, Suite Sole, branding our own B’zar product online, etcetera,” co-owner Andrea Serrano says. “It’ll be a retrospective of our four years on Upper King Street.”
