Two hurrdles for non-smoking advocates in the news today.
The Town of Goose Creek voted down a smoking ban last night. It was a 4-3 vote and I’m not terribly sure how committed the majority is, but it’s clear the mayor doesn’t want a ban.
In Lexington County, the council is considering a private club exemption to its proposed smoking ban. It’s going to hinge on the legality of it.
