Popular country/pop band Sugarland — the multi-platinum, Grammy-winning melodic act led by the songwriting team of guitarist Kristian Bush and vocalist Jennifer Nettles — returns to Charleston for a concert on Thurs. May 21 at the Family Circle Cup Stadium on Daniel Island behind their latest album, Love on the Inside.
Sugarland recently won a pair of Grammy awards for their hit single “Stay” as “Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals” and “Best Country Song.”
Songwriter Billy Currington, touring on his own new album Little Bit of Everything, opens the show at 8 p.m.
Tickets go on sale beginning Friday at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at (800) 745-3000, Publix outlets, and at the Family Circle Tennis Center box office. Reserved seating on the floor, first tier, and in the terrace level will be available for $60, and general admission third tier seating will be available for $45.
