Oak Steakhouse’s Brett McKee will be paying tribute to his old friend, former Charleston Grill executive chef Bob Waggoner, at a collaborative dinner on Sun. March 1.

So, if you’ve just gotten word that Bob is no longer with Charleston Grill or you didn’t get a chance to see him before he left, you can attend this special five-course dinner, which will also feature the talents of former Charleston Grill pastry chef Vinzenz Aschbacher.

The evening will also help promote Bob’s newest venture Ucook with Chef Bob.

Says Brett: “As Bob’s longtime friend, I want to honor and celebrate everything he’s done for Charleston’s culinary scene. He’s been invaluable in making our city a gastronomic destination.”
