Want color that makes a statement? This is the guy to go to. Why do we know that? Because whenever we see someone with a tres chic style and ask, “Who does your hair?” it’s inevitably Quinton. He worked for years at Stella Nova, establishing himself as a master stylist before striking out on his own in 2005 with stylist Carol Hammond and his wife, makeup artist Elizabeth Quinton. They took over a small space on Upper King Street and have been rockin’ some of Charleston’s coolest styles at Salon Couture ever since. A former intern of ours comes back to town just to get her hair colored by Quinton, who has a way with the multilevel hues. He can take ho-hum hair and set it on fire.
