It’s easy to take places like Athens Restaurant for granted. They’ve been around forever, and they don’t seem to be going anywhere. But sometimes it’s good to revisit these guys and remind yourself why they’re so loved. At Athens, it’s the pizza. The crust is thin and crisp, and the tomato sauce is fresh and zingy. Top it with the creamiest feta around, and you’ll be yelling “Opa!” They recently expanded, opening an Athens Express in West Ashley, where they, no doubt, already have a bunch of fans.
