Dave Matthews Band saxophonist LeRoi Moore was seriously injured in an ATV accident in Virginia just a week before this Independence Day gig, but the band played on with fill-in saxophonist Jeff Coffin of Béla Fleck and the Flecktones (sadly, Moore passed away on Aug. 19). City Paper photographer Kaitlyn Iserman weathered the hassles and tangles at the front gates and reported, “This was one of the better shows I’ve seen from the band.”
