The newly-opened Abe’s Oyster House loves showing sports events on their hanging collection of flat-screen TVs. They even boast about sports on their main web page, declaring “Your home for football and game day.” The newly-established tavern (located in the old Luna Rossa spot) survived the first few bumpy months in business, tightened up their service and food quality, filled the coolers with 10 draught beer selections, enhanced the decor, and gradually built up a loyal clientele. These days, Abe’s happy hour and weekend nights buzz with the activity of locals at the bar and in the booths, watching whatever college or pro game might be on, as they chow down on fried seafood, sliders, and oyster plates. It’s nice to see they’ve worked out the kinks and found their groove.
