Recovery Room Tavern
685 King St. Downtown
Charleston has more than its fair share of go-to happy hour watering holes, making it pretty doggone difficult for a new tavern to win some pau-hana love. But that’s what the Recovery Room has done in the year since it’s been open, thanks in part to a low-key vibe that attracts working classers, ex-CofC hipsters, F&Bers, and pretty much anybody else who wants to down a few before heading home. And don’t forget to order the “Tachos.”
