Already in its third year, the annual Holy City Cold Heart Revival showcased a lot of fine talent and camaraderie at the Pour House this fall. Organizer Lindsay Holler snagged Justin Townes Earle (the talented son of Steve Earle) to co-headline alongside her own band, the Western Polaroids, as well as Carolina acts American Aquarium, Shovels & Rope, Kentucky Shoes, Owen Beverly, Harrison Ray (and his Magic Ghost), The Barnraisers, and Quasiphonics. Those who played and attended are already looking forward to another soul-stirring event in ’09.
