It was finals week, fall semester, 2008. Students were beginning to drool on their textbooks, their eyelids drooping, their cracked-out brains coming to a halt. Suddenly, they were interrupted by a loud noise. What’s that? Sounds like Darude’s techno staple “Sandstorm.” Notebook paper was strewn, screams were heard, crowd-surfers were spotted, and general mayhem ensued in the normally silent Addlestone Library. It lasted minutes, but, it was the stuff of legend.
