Shortly after a group of kids at a Sumter elementary school urged state legislators to consider a bill to name the right whale the official state marine mammal, Campsen and Campbell introduced a counter bill that would name the bottle-nosed dolphin as our official non-fish fish. Word has it that the State Ports Authority, which has been suffering some right whale woes, weren’t too happy about the children’s choice.
