After the Dine Around on Friday night, the assorted chefs, sponsors, organizers, authors, media, and participants showed up for an afterparty at Charleston Grill, hosted by Mickey Bakst and crew. Despite eating six courses at McCrady’s, I eventually ended up in the back room, eating again! I couldn’t help it — they were carving proscuitto meat and serving up delicacies like foie gras. And plus, it was suddenly a couple hours later and I had room.
Below are the pictures I managed to take. I haven’t made it out to any events yet today, and after checking out these pics, you might just understand why. In a bit, I’ll be returning to McCrady’s again for dinner with some friends and associates.
I’ve passed off my Bubbles and Sweets duties to party girl Erica Jackson, who will do a fine job covering this event, even if she can’t tweet along the way (girl doesn’t have texting, for some odd reason).
