We left work a bit early today to check out the King Street Sip + Stroll, presented by the Real Estate Studio. Sadly, we didn’t leave early enough, and we found ourselves rushing to make it to all 16 of the participating stores. We didn’t make it to them all, but by God we tried. In the back of each store, friendly, informative representatives from various vineyards from across the country were camped out with 3-5 wines for tasting, as well as a plate of cheese from Whole Foods. Our favorites were Schramsberg Vineyards at Cynthia Rowley, which had nothing but bubbly, and Schug Vineyards and Winery at Bob Ellis. We haven’t seen King Street so busy in awhile, and the stroll even had me entering into some shops I’d never thought to go in before, like Pierre Deux and Joint Venture Estate Jewelers. What better way to end the work-week than getting a little tipsy down on King Street? –Erica Jackson
