The Charleston Ballet Theatre announces the addition of three performances to their 2008-2009 season. Coming up next in the CBT Mainstage Series is Cinderella. The classic fairy tale is the final ballet production of the company’s current season to be on March 21-22 at the Sottile Theatre.

Twisted Tango returns to the CBT’s Black Box Theatre on March 27-28 in a whirl of red-hot dance. Tango is a fusion of multiple sensuous tango styles with classical and contemporary ballet.

On May 8, take a psychedelic trip at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. The Magical Mystery Tour is a show dedicated to a rock ‘n’ roll legacy, the Beatles. The CBT will take you through dance interpretations of Fab Four classics like “Lady Madonna” and “Penny Lane” with a set list of over 20 Beatle’s hits. Afterwards, guests can enjoy a live Beatles rock concert by Eddie Bush from One Flew South. It’s a season not to be missed. —Candice Summers
