Thought I’d post about these events, since we didn’t have a cuisine calendar in the paper this week because of Best of Charleston.
La Fourchette is bringing in Alex Andrieux from Gigondas in the Rhone Valley. They’ll present a four-course dinner with five wine pairings from the southern and northern Rhone Valley. According to wine.com, you can expect robust and muscular reds made from the grenache grape.
It’s $54 per person and starts at 7 p.m.
Across the bridge in Mt. P, Coco’s Cafe will be hosting Emilie Terrier from Laboure-Roi, one of Burgundy’s largest negociant houses, for a four-course dinner. $40.
