The Charleston County School of the Arts presents the 2009 middle and high school art shows.
March 12 from 6-9 p.m. is the Middle School Show and Silent Auction. It features hand-painted furniture by the SOA 8th graders inspired by the works of the masters. These unique pieces from some of the Lowcountry’s youngest artists will be available for purchase during the exhibit.
March 13 is your second chance to view some of Charleston’s fresh talent at the High School Show and Mural Presentation. The show lasts from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Enjoy music by the SOA Strings Quartet and the 8th Grade Jazz Piano Combo during both exhibits.
Both shows will be held at the Old Navy Yard at 10 Storehouse Row. —Candice Summers
