This year Spoleto Festival USA’s annual gala will be hosted by Tony Award-winner Jane Alexander. She is known for her performances in The Great White Hope, The Sisters Rosenweig, 6 Rms Riv Vu, and Find Your Way Home.
On May 23, with the help of Alexander, Charles Wadsworth, Spoleto’s artistic director for chamber music will be honored. The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater will start the evening performance, and according to the press release, there will also be cocktails, tributes, and toasts to Wadsworth.
