It’s 3/11, so here’s the scoop on 311.

According to the folks at the Music Farm, this big 311 gig scheduled for Thurs. April 23 is already sold out. The late-’90s metal/rap/reggae band — lead singer/guitarist Nick Hexum, singer/turntablist Doug “SA” Martinez, lead guitarist Tim Mahoney, bassist Aaron “P-Nut” Wills, and drummer Chad Sexton — returned to the road this month for a nation-wide spring tour in support of a new album titled Uplifter — a collection produced by Bob Rock (Metallica, Motley Crüe, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, etc.). They recorded the new stuff at the band’s Hive Studio in Hollywood.
