You know, it was a sad, sad day when the Weekly World News put an end to their print product. Well, the WWN, the home of Bat Boy, still exists, but only online.
And oddly enough, they ran a recent report on Gov. Sanford’s stimulus waiver gamble.
Here’s a comment, alledgedly made by Sanford himself (but since it’s the WWN we’re talking about … well, do we have to explain it):
“Zimbabwe has a staggering 11 million percent interest rate! Can you even fathom that? A gumball would cost $27,500. A vente soy chai skim milk latte with a sprinkle of pumpkin spice would cost $526,900.”
