The Charleston RiverDogs are back in action starting Thursday, signaling the much-anticipated return of Thirsty Thursdays, wacky promos (Cooterfest, anyone?), crowd camaraderie, and, oh yeah, baseball. The season kicks off April 9 with a welcoming parade. All attendees will receive a 2009 magnet schedule, plus enjoy $1 beer specials. The ‘Dogs will take on the Rome Braves at 7:05 p.m.

Friday is Charlie the RiverDog’s birthday. Enjoy post-game fireworks, and wear a red shirt to get a discount off of your ticket. The RiverDogs play the Braves at 7:05 p.m.

Saturday is Economic Stimulus Night. RiverDogs wallet giveaway to the first 1,000 fans. Prior to the game, the RiverDogs Run, Forrest Run 5K will take place. Game against the Braves at 7:05 p.m.

Easter Sunday enjoy the Great Egg Hunt, Dog Day #1, and Family Sunday, which means free parking and kids 12 and under eat free. Game against Braves at 5:05 p.m.
