It’s almost time. The Terrace Theater on James Island acquired in March a long-term lease for the old IMAX near the Aquarium. The first movie is going to be the new Star Trek on May 7 at 7 p.m. Like the James Island location, which is still running strong, the new Terrace Hippodrome (can you think of a better name?) will serve beer and wine and I think there’s going to be a so-called lounge, too. No word yet on how and where to buy tickets. Stay tuned. —John Stoehr
