When you’re stuck at home with no money for travel, an ethnic grocery is one of the best places for expanding your culinary horizons.

Christabel Christy and her family saw a need for a place to find Indian spices and vegetables and opened up their grocery store at the end of February. They hope to make it a whole lot easier for Indian natives and food lovers alike to get their necessities at low prices.

They stock basic ingredients — lentils, spices, rice — along with frozen items like curry, masala, and naan. They also have fresh seasonal produce like bottle gourd, snake gourd, eggplant, tindora, mint, methe leaves, okra, and chili.

Christabel welcomes curious foodies to stop by and pay a visit. She’s eager to get customers in her store to discover good cooking tips and learn to cook a new cuisine.
