For those minding their wallets while they look for good shows this Spoleto season: Check out Vickery’s on Beaufain Street. The restaurant and bar has teamed up with Spoleto to offer drinks specials themed on Don John, the stage production by London’s Kneehigh Theatre about the world’s ultimate lady killer. Vickery’s is super-convenient, because it’s right down the street from the Memminger Auditorium.

The drink in question is called a Union Jack and it has these ingredients: Canadian whiskey, pomegranate schnapps, cranberry juice, and grenadine. Sounds pretty tasty. We envision a few tipsy moments in the future. The Union Jack will be on every night after a Don John performance. We hear the bar is already becoming a favorite sport for the cast. You might even catch a glimpse of the star, Gisli Orn Gardarsson.
