Michael Harrison’s performance of Revelation had a perk.

A suite of hearing aids screeching and blaring and crying around the recital hall at the Simons Center for the Arts. Occasionally during the hour-plus recital, you’d see elderly men and women in the audience scrambling to turn them down.

There’s something about Harrison’s “just intonation” that sets them off. See for yourself why.

This is called “Carillon” from Harrison’s Revelation.
