Last night’s performance was canceled, because there was no rain location. That’s according to a Spoleto spokesperson I spoke with this morning. The festival figured that it had two other nights to get people in the door, and besides the Cistern is adjustable. It can be modified to accommodate more people than could be accommodated in a normal venue. Even so, the forecast for Charleston County calls for scattered showers and thunderstorms again tonight. Chance of rain is 60 percent. Judging from the way it feels outside, that percentage might be a little low. The forecast is ditto for Saturday. It might be time for Spoleto to get a rain location. Otherwise, we might not get to see Noche Flamenca. If you still need to get a refund or exchange your ticket for tonight, call 843.579.3100. -JS
