The Village Playhouse has lined up some light-hearted theater for the warmer months with the Summer of Fun Series. Kicking things off is an encore presentation of George Feydeu’s classic French farce, A Flea in Her Ear, which they initially presented back in February. Flea plays Thurs.-Sat., June 18-27 at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $12 (student rush) to $25 (adults). Upcoming shows in the series include a reprisal of Reefer Madness: The Hit Musical (July 2-18); Sidetracked, a one-man comedy starring Jay White (July 23-Aug. 2); and The Little Dog that Laughed, a “skewering of Tinseltown’s dirty secrets” (Aug. 13-30). All this right after Spoleto? We don’t know where you get your energy, VP. Call (843) 856-1579 or stop by for more info.
