The old Your Place has been completely rehabbed and replaced with Quick Bite, a fresh little eatery at the end of the Market.

We stopped by for a quick bite (hee hee) earlier this week and tried a salad and a cheesesteak. The choices are simple but freshly prepared and tasty. The Greek salad was well done with chopped romaine, plenty of feta, and a ton of hot pepperoncini peppers. A solid midday meal.

The renovation is pretty amazing. They took an old, greasy shack and turned it into a bright, clean dining room. Apparently, they have a couple parking spaces out back, but we didn’t find this out until after we scored a metered space nearby. Parking is definitely a deterrent down in this area, so it’s a necessary amenity. Another necessary amenity? AC. Theirs seemed to be having a hard time keeping the room cool. Maybe they forgot to leave it running all night?

The idea that theyโ€™ll be open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday is clever, and hopefully theyโ€™ll be able to attract the bar crowds as they stumble home in the wee hours. Stop by and check it out.

Theyโ€™re located at 6 N. Market (thatโ€™s at the end near the cruise terminal).
