Raleigh-based Public Policy Polling recently surveyed 749 North Carolinians about whether or not they believe Barack Obama was born in the United States. The results were quite shocking — and no, I’m talking about the matter that only 54% believe the president is a natural born citizen. Nope.
What’s a real head scratcher is that 5% don’t believe Hawaii is a state and that 3% are unsure.
And yet, on Election Day, all our votes count the same.
