Contemporary gallery Eye Level Art will hosting an album release show on Sat. Aug. 29 as the newly-formed local band The Green and Bold take the “stage” at the 103 Gallery on Spring Street with plenty of copies of their debut Love, Luck and Regard (Cord and Pedal)in hand.

The band is a newly-assembled pop/indie-rock project featuring Dex Cox, Kevin Hanley, Stephanie Something, Billy Compton, Steven Thompson, Richard Hussey, Josh Kaler, Cary Ann Hearst, and other local musicians. “It should be a fun show since we’re bringing together a good mix of talent,” says gallery coordinator Caroline Millard. Also on the bill are local musical acts The Whisperjets, Rachel Kate Gillon, and Bill Carson.

Advance tickets will be available for $7 online at eyelevelart.com. Visit myspace.com/thegreenandbold for more info and musical samples.
