The Charleston Arts Coalition is set to host a town hall meeting on Tues. Aug. 25 entitled “Nursing Creativity Through the Economic Slump.” All Charleston creatives are encouraged to attend and share their ideas, and panelists include Ellen Dressler Moryl, director of the city’s Office of Cultural Affairs; Mark Sloan, curator at the Halsey Institute; Karen Chandler, co-founder of Charleston Jazz Initiative; and Sharon Graci of the League of Charleston Theaters. The meeting will take place at Wachovia Auditorium on the CofC campus at 5:30 p.m.
