Everyone knows that Gene’s Haufbrau, Voodoo, and Pearlz dominate the music scene in the Avondale district of West Ashley. Triangle Char & Bar (828 Savannah Hwy., 843-377-1300) looks to add to the mix with their first live music acts performing Halloween weekend.
On Fri. Oct. 30, local songstress Elise Testone and her band The Freeloaders belt out their soulful jazz reminiscent of Lauryn Hill and Nina Simone. Halloween night takes a different musical direction with DJ Sonar from Spaced Invaders providing his crowd-pleasing jams.
