Writer-director Michael Owens has completed his debut film Twin Geeks: The Zelinski Brothers Unleashed. Owens, along with actors Michael Daly, Jacob Poole, and Tara Langdale, have been working on Twin Geeks for over a year and are ready for its premiere at Cinebarre next month. The film tells the tale of two brothers who think they’re identical Chinese twins, while in reality they are not Asian, nor do they look anything alike. Sounds like a funny enough premise. You can decide if it is by catching Twin Geeks Thurs. Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. at Cinebarre (963 Houston-Northcutt Blvd., Mt. Pleasant).
