Lower King antique stores will have a new neighbor as Bin 152 is set to open next week at 152 King St. The store will be a wine and cheese bar, antiques store, and art gallery owned by husband-wife duo Patrick and Fanny Panella. Patrick says that they will sell wines from around the world but focus on small producers and under-appreciated wines.

Artisan cheeses, charcuterie, pâtés, and other cured meats will accompany the wines, but the menu may expand into plated meals later. All antique furniture in the bar will also be available for sale. The store will also feature a different artists’ work every month and hold gallery parties for each opening.

Patrick opened a similar style wine bar in San Francisco and has lived in the Charleston area for a year. Bin 152’s hours are not yet definite, but should run from mid-afternoon until 2 a.m. Check www.bin152.com for updates.
