Christmas as an adult sucks, particularly once you get into a relationship. When the parents are divorced, it only adds to the stress of visiting everyone. Who wants to spend the holidays driving and spending spurts of time with family members at their stressed-out worst? Next year I’m saving my vacay days and going far away. Come visit some other time if you want to see me.
