Specially-priced season passes are available for the Charleston Jazz Orchestra’s upcoming 2010 concerts at the Charleston Music Hall (the first is scheduled for Jan. 30). Three six-concert packages are available for $162 (for adults), $135 (for seniors), and $108 (for students). The three-show packages are available for $81 (for adults), $67.50 (for seniors), and $54 (for students). Discounted individual advance tickets are available, too.

Over the last few years, the CJO and its main supporter, the Jazz Artists of Charleston (a dedicated group of like-minded artists and organizers), have been serving the Charleston music community with a series of concerts and special events. They concluded a busy 2009 with a holiday-themed program in November at the Charleston Music Hall with a CJO program titled A Suite Holiday, led by conductor and trumpeter Charlton Singleton (pictured).
