Brooklyn-based roots-rock/jam band Yarn — a favorite among local clubgoers — braves the winter weather this week as they travel back down to Charleston for a show at the Pour House on Sat. Jan. 2.

Deep-voiced songwriter Blake Christiana (formerly Blake & The Family Dog) and his New York-based band return in support of an album titled Empty Pockets. They play two full sets (starting at 9 p.m.) for seven bucks. Visit yarnmusic.net and charlestonpourhouse.com for more.
