A kitchen fire erupted at Coast on Wednesday night, causing patrons to be evacuated as the restaurant filled up with smoke, according to a report in today’s Post and Courier.
The fire was extinguished at the John Street by workers before the fire department arrived, and the Holy City Hospitality Group reports today that Coast will be closed for a few days to make minor repairs in the kitchen.
