Monster Movies & Music (in West Ashley) announced a cool in-store event for next week. The staff will host a White Stripes Listening/Viewing Party on Mon. March 15 from 9 p.m. to midnight.
They’ll play tracks and show scenes from the band’s new CD/DVD set Under Great White Northern Lights. Shot by filmmaker Emmett Malloy, the documentary features footage of the band as they make their way across Canada, leading up to their 10th anniversary show in Nova Scotia.
Monster will have pizza and beer available during the screenings, along with posters, collectible postcards, a catalog prize pack of their previous albums, and other fun stuff.
