Enjoy a picnic in the sun, a stroll on nature trails, or maybe even a nice bicycle ride in a Charleston County Park on their Customer Appreciation Day, Sun. March 21. The Recreation Commission would like to say “thank you” for a year of record high attendance numbers by offering free admission to Ravenel Caw Caw Interpretive Center, North Charleston Wannamaker, Mt. Pleasant Palmetto Islands, and James Island County Parks. There will also be free parking at Kiawah Beachwalker Park, Folly Beach and Isle of Palms County Parks, and the Folly Beach Edwin S. Taylor Fishing Pier will also have free fishing all day.
