Lil’ Mama’s, Folly’s little seasonal hole in the wall, is not only changing format, but they’re also changing their name to Burrell and Flynn’s.
“We’ve had four great years with Lil’ Mama’s but wanted to shake things up a bit,” says co-owner Beth Burrell.
She and Seana Flynn are changing the restaurant’s concept from solely being a sit-in restaurant to a gourmet-on-the-go market and café. Most of what was on the original menu will still be available in-house and to-go, such as their tasty chicken salad, their sharp pimento cheese, and their roasted garlic hummus.
As for their gourmet pizzas, most of the recipes will be making the transition, but with one difference: they are par-baked so you can take home and cook yourself.
Customers will also have a selection of organic fruits, drinks and snacks, and even some scrumptious sweets to choose from. Like the triple chocolate espresso brownie (which has reached taste buds as far as Columbia), the Heath bar chocolate chip cookies, truffles, cakes, and much more.
Burrell & Flynn’s is still under construction, and are shooting to be open by early April. Café hours are from 11-2 p.m. and the gourmet/market will be open from 10-5 p.m.
