Comedian and improv extraordinaire Rory Scovel likes pot. The Charleston Comedy Festival alum says so all the time in his stand-up shows. He also likes speaking in a "Carolina Girl" accent without the assistance of a helium balloon, talking about the trivial oddities of life (like getting upset over that guy who doesn’t move his car when the light is green) and politics.
Scovel has traveled up and down the country and is coming back to Charleston to give his absurdist point-of-view of the world at Theatre 99. And he won’t just tell you his jokes; he’ll act out every single imaginary moment. See him for $10 on April 2 at 10 p.m. For more information, call (843) 853-6687 or visit Theatre 99’s website.
