Oh, the 1980s. The decade of shoulder pads, arcades, and the launch of MTV came back with a vengeance at the Music Farm on Saturday with the Return of the ’80s Baby! Party. The stage was occupied with jumpinโ€™, bumpinโ€™, and M.C. Hammerinโ€™ dancers that showed off their moves to the music of DJs R Dot and Natty Heavy. The floor was busy with dancing patrons, all dressed up in their raddest โ€™80s duds. There were hot pink pumps and leg warmers (of course), tons of hip-hop-inspired attire, and high tops and side ponytails everywhere. Taking center stage was a lady in a pair of fishnet stockings, short shorts, and an off-the-shoulder getup, looking like a booty flashdancer. Off to the side of the stage, a live graffiti artist worked on visuals throughout the event. The only thing missing from this bash were the Beastie Boys themselves.
