Local AC/DC tribute band T.N.T. — fronted by Bon-tastic singer Rob Liotti and the Angus-esque guitarist Chris Barrineau — are slated to perform a special pre-Rockin’ on the Point kick-off party at the Charleston Harbor Resort in Mt. Pleasant on Thurs. April 22. Expect deep cuts from such slabs as Highway to Hell, Powerage, and High Voltage.
Music starts around 7 p.m. in the newly renovated Lookout Pavilion at the Sunset Deck area. A cash bar and sip-sized samples of Crown Royal Black will be available. There’s no admission charge.
Jamisun and his band perform the official ROTP after-party at the Mt. Pleasant Kickin’ Chicken at 10 p.m. on Thursday. Local rock/funk band Uncle Mingo headlines the next ROTP gig on Fri. April 30.
