Longtime Charleston musician and visual artist J.R. Getches spends a lot of time jamming with local bands on electric and acoustic guitar, but he plans to show off some of his photographic skills this week.
Scheduled for Thurs. May 27, from 7-11 p.m. at Iacofano’s (626 Coleman Blvd., 843-881-2313), Getches’ photo exhibit Come See You will feature concert images of various jazz, blues, and rock musicians in Charleston’s music scene.
Getches will perform with The Louie D Project (one of his many current musical collaborations) during the reception. Admission is free.
