What’s big and white and angelic all over?Whatever you do, do not try to Google “Big White Angels.” Please. Just don’t. Especially if you’re in a professional or family friendly environment. You’ll just get yourself in trouble. Because for some reason, that combination of words makes the search engine bring up porn sites, even if it is also the name of a comedy duo, featuring Michael Patrick O’Brien and Lyndsay Nicole Hailey. (The group’s name is an homage to Hailey’s dog, Little Black Angel.)

The pair are both veterans of the Chicago improv scene. He’s a member of The Reckoning, and she’s with iO Theater. Recently hired as a writer for Saturday Night Live, O’Brien has relocated to New York City.

They’re also dating, so they’ll be testing that warning about mixing business and pleasure, and they’ll be doing it in front of an audience. O’Brien says they were reluctant to work together at first. The decision seems to be a wise one. “Improvising with a significant other is great because it’s an art form built on feeling like you can be dumb or silly with this other person, and they will go right along with it, which for me is the same criteria for dating,” O’Brien says.

“It’s definitely a show that emphasizes fun characters and moments,” he adds.
